I first met Amy Smith of the Mad Cow Company at the Dallas Apparel & Accessories Show in March of 2010. I loved her unique approach to creating distinctive jewelry and accessories. Each piece is handcrafted one at a time in the U.S.A., and is artistically imperfect. The pieces are rusted, tarnished, oxidized and antiqued on purpose to make them look rustic. Many Mad Cow jewelry and accessory pieces feature colorful semi-precious stones, which contrast wonderfully against the rustic metals.

The 2" wide Cuff Bracelet (left, sale priced at $360) is made of oxidized copper and/or steel and is adorned with coral and turquoise stones. It is a spectacular statement piece! I love the Turquoise Crosses Link Belt (center, $625)! It includes seven oxidized Spanish crosses adorned with German silver conchos and natural turquoise stones.The crosses are linked together with an oxidized silver plate chain that is long enough to accomodate most sizes.
