Cozy Handmade Sweaters

Warmth and Fashion from Smith and Western

The weather has finally cooled down and it is time to bring out cozy sweaters and jackets. Does your sweater collection need some updating? Then head over to Smith and Western for a fabulous selection of colorful handmade sweaters, vests, and scarves to brighten up even the grayest winter days!

The Smith and Western website features several styles of 100% rayon chenille sweaters hand loomed in the Southwest. Each sweater is soft and warm, with a unique button closure. The style featured below left is the Cowgirls Day Sweater ($448), and there are many other styles and patterns of sweaters available. I love the color combination of turquoise and brown in the Crossfire Turquoise Scarf (center, $67), which is handmade of 50% acrylic, 35% alpaca, and 15% wool. This distinctive scarf is also available in vibrant shades of red and yellow. The Sienna Long Sweater Vest (right, $240) was hand knitted in Peru and is extremely soft to the touch. It is made of alpaca with hand painted buttons. I love the Southwestern designs and rich colors of this vest!

Visit smithandwesternonline to see and purchase the sweater, scarf, and vest featured here, as well as many others.
